Huegor

Deep within the woods was a small cave nestled against the mountains. Inside the cave a being lived. He watched out of his cavern hole at the happiness in the woods. Critters playing, plants blooming, clouds passing over. All these made him happy to be alive and he never felt pain.

One stormy night a loving couple took shelter in his rocky walls. The man was half wolf with white fur and red tips. His wife was a spiritual being dressed in a blue dress and a glow about her. They built a fire and spent the night talking and laughing and all around just being in love. The cave felt their love and deemed them his friends. The next morning they left and over the next week or too the cave wept at his loneliness. All he wanted was to see them again. He was sleeping when he was shook from his slumber by a scream. Watching out his hole he could see goblins running by. He listened closely as the scream reverberated off his walls again. He could recognize the voice, it was that of the spiritual woman. For the first moment in his entire existence he felt pain. It coursed through him as he yelled. The cave walls rattling and crumbling as his voiced roared. Two light blue lights flicked to create his eyes and slowly the rocks peeled off the walls. In incredible physical and emotional pain he gave himself a body. He stumbled out the cave and could see the fight in the distance. The wolf man outnumbered thirty to one. He stretched out his vine like fingers and wrapped them around a boulder. He lunged at the goblins gnawing at the woman's dress. The boulder smashing into them and crushing their bones. His forearm grew a sharp tree branch which he used as a blade. When the commotion subsided the wolf man approached him cautiously. “Thank you, my name is Andrew. I appreciate your help. It means a lot. What is your name?” The cave mumbled the word name back at Andrew, then he thought. “My name Huegor.” Andrew pressed his hand to Huegor's chest imprinting a paw print on his chest. “Now you are part of my pack Huegor. You will forever be a friend and I will howl upon you when needed.” He smiled as his wife hoped on his back. On all fours he took of into the woods her holding his fur for support. Huegor released his boulder and begun chase, the ground shaking under his thunderous stomps. A smile gleaming on his face.
